Our farm, situated at high altitude in Colorado, grows a 3rd cutting Orchard Grass/Alfalfa Mix that we’re proud to share with bulk hay buyers, ranchers, and retailers. We harvested this hay under clear, ideal conditions, and it’s certified organic, grown entirely on our own land with care and attention to sustainable practices. We only offer it in semi loads of 819 bales, bundled in 21-bale units of 2-string small bales, as we’ve found this works best for larger operations. Individual bales or bundles aren’t available.

The hay itself is leafy, soft, and free of dust, with a texture that feels natural and clean. For livestock like cattle or sheep, the mix of orchard grass and alfalfa provides a good balance of protein and fiber, which supports steady digestion and helps maintain their condition over time. Horses seem to take to it well, too—the fine stems and lack of dust are gentle on their breathing, which is especially important for those prone to respiratory issues. It’s the kind of feed that keeps animals healthy and eating consistently, whether they’re working stock or breeding herds.
